Halloween is here and FHHS students have been getting festive, especially during spirit week. Did you see the amount of frat outfits that roamed the halls? And yee-haw, did we spot a lot of cowboy hats.
And now, the halls are costume-filled, from wizards to zombies, to maybe even a… traffic cone?

This year, fictional characters are taking over. According to a recent Halloween survey given in the cafeteria, the overall consensus seems to be that students are dressing up as someone from a movie, show, or game.
We are also seeing a rising trend in dressing up as our favorite childhood books. Think of Hermione Granger, Peter Parker, Catwoman, and even Fancy Nancy.
Basically, if your costume looks like it came straight out of Netflix or Marvel, you’re in good company.
Still, not everyone’s rolling in a squad. More than half of the students are rocking solo costumes. But a few are teaming up for duo or group themes.
So do expect some matching looks and maybe some accidental twinning moments in the hallway.
Of course, Forest Hills High School wouldn’t be what we are without a few wildcards. Someone’s definitely showing up as Clark Kent, and let’s just say, the girls are already swooning. The actor behind the cape is stacked with muscles and 6’4, making him the hallway heartthrob.
Someone’s showing up as a zombie schoolgirl, another’s a cow, and a few are still not sure yet what they’ll be.
Oh, and we have to talk about the classic Scream ghost-face.
We can definitely expect some very unique and new costumes this Halloween. So grab your fangs, fake blood and best costume game because it’s here. FHHS is about to give you a Halloween celebration you won’t forget.
